International Reinsurance Provider faced an overwhelming intake of millions of documents in varied digital formats—many “from the wild” PDFs with unreliable fidelity and OCR—making it impossible to consistently feed accurate content into their big data analytics. To solve this, the customer engaged Adlib Software, leveraging Adlib’s Content Elevation Process and OCR capabilities to standardize and make large volumes of content machine-searchable.

Adlib Software implemented its Content Elevation Process, OCR engine, and EMC Documentum connector to convert every document to ISO-approved high-definition PDF, manage more than 200 million pages per year, and make roughly 30% of content searchable for analytics. Searchable life and health insurance content is fed into the insurer’s analytics engine to match clauses, generate recommendations, and quantify contract risk, while the remaining content is routed into EMC Documentum—creating a single, trusted source of truth.
