Large Utility and Energy Company, a Texas-based utilities and energy organization, needed to convert hundreds of 200–300 page business transaction documents each week into searchable PDFs to respond to lawsuits after an asset sale and staff reductions. The customer required OCR for full-text search, integration with Microsoft SharePoint, high-volume automated processing, and efficient archiving, and selected Adlib Software’s Adlib PDF solution.

Adlib Software implemented a complete automated enterprise PDF and OCR solution (Adlib PDF/Advanced Rendering) integrated with SharePoint, enabling automated conversion, archiving and search. The deployment processed documents at scale—about one document every 2–3 seconds—provided OCR-enabled full-text search, increased operational efficiency, and supported the company’s legal and records-management needs.
