National Insurance Company’s personal claims underwriting unit needed to capture and store emails with claims information in a central, searchable repository. Their legacy capture only saved email bodies (losing headers, footers and subjects), needed very small file sizes for mobile agents, and had to process roughly 1,500 emails per day (~4,500 pages per week); they engaged Adlib Software (using Adlib’s Advanced Rendering / Adlib PDF Enterprise) to solve this.
Adlib Software rendered all emails to high‑fidelity, locked PDFs (ingested into IBM FileNet), making headers, footers and subjects searchable while producing small, mobile-friendly files. The result: the prior costly solution was decommissioned, agents gained full access in-office and in the field, manual workflows were eliminated, compliance and records-retention were demonstrated, and the platform now provides scalable, highly available, secure document management for growing volumes.
