Joom is a fast‑growing app‑first international e‑commerce marketplace launched in 2016 that connects global factories and merchants directly to shoppers. Despite rapid user growth, Joom’s app acquisition efforts weren’t driving the retention and Customer Lifetime Value they needed, and they needed a retargeting solution that could surface relevant products from their vast catalog to bring users back to the app.

Joom leveraged an existing Adjust–Criteo integration to launch Criteo App Retargeting, using Adjust’s SDK to send real‑time shopper signals (over 300,000 events per minute) so Criteo could dynamically show the most relevant products at scale. The campaigns delivered strong business impact — an 8:1 ROAS (7‑day post‑click) and 75% of sales coming from products users hadn’t previously seen — enabling faster regional expansion and improved campaign efficiency.
