Case Study: Nexon M raises ROAS and saves 2.5–5% of media spend with Adjust’s Fraud Prevention Suite

A Adjust Case Study

Preview of the Nexon M Case Study

How Nexon M leveraged Adjust’s Fraud Prevention Suite to fight fraud, free resources, and raise ROAS

Nexon M, the mobile games subsidiary of global publisher Nexon, manages dozens of hit titles and more than 100 million installs worldwide. As a high-profile advertiser focused on ROAS, the team faced increasingly sophisticated ad fraud — device farms, SDK spoofing, click injection and click spamming — that manual reconciliation couldn’t fully catch and that was dragging down acquisition performance and partner relationships.

By deploying Adjust’s Fraud Prevention Suite, Nexon M automatically rejected fraudulent installs before attribution using filters like distribution modeling, Too Many Engagements, Click Injection detection, SDK Signature and Anonymous IP blocking. The FPS stopped major fraud vectors (Anonymous IP 44–46%, Distribution Outliers 22–26%, SDK Spoofing 15–22%, Click Injection 6–10%), saved an estimated 2.5–5% of total media spend, reclaimed several work days per UA team member, and raised ROAS by redirecting budget to legitimate partners.
