dailyme TV is a free mobile app that lets users build a personalized "Download‑to‑Go" program of TV shows and videos for offline viewing. Because the app has a higher‑friction onboarding that drives long‑term engagement, the team needed to know which campaigns and partners were bringing users who actually completed onboarding and watched videos — installs alone weren’t enough.

dailyme implemented adjust’s flexible event tracking for four key events (onboarding start, onboarding finish, video watched, pre‑roll watched) and used cohort analysis to compare sources and campaign formats. The results exposed large quality differences—up to a 13% gap in onboarding completion on day one and up to five times more videos viewed in the first week from the best sources—and enabled targeting optimizations that increased video views from key campaigns by as much as 43% in Q4 2014.
