ELEX, founded in 2008, is a China-based game developer and distributor with 500+ employees and global offices. For the October 2014 soft launch of Clash of Kings they needed to track installs and all post-install activity across many channels—including Facebook, Google and TV—so they could optimize for retention and in-app purchases and filter out low-quality traffic.

ELEX integrated adjust’s SDK and partner modules (Facebook, Google, Chartboost, Tapjoy, MdotM), tagged post-install events and fed callbacks into their BI, then used cohort analysis to compare user value and measure TV ROI. This let them reallocate budget to high-performing partners, improve traffic quality by 15% week-on-week, reduce campaign risk and costs, and helped Clash of Kings reach #4 top-grossing in 2015, rank highly across dozens of countries and exceed 100 million downloads.
