BMW South Africa faced the challenge of promoting the return of its large M-Fest motoring festival after a three-year hiatus. They wanted to create awareness and drive ticket sales by reaching new, enthusiastic audiences, specifically within the rapidly growing video game live streaming community. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor Adform to run a real-time bidding campaign.
Adform implemented a solution by leveraging a native integration with LIVAD through its SSP. This allowed BMW to programmatically buy live streaming inventory, where over 30 streamers enthusiastically discussed M Fest while a video ad played. The results were highly successful, yielding a high percentage of live views and screen time, along with higher streamer participation than LIVAD's benchmarks, significantly extending the campaign's reach.
