Adexa, Inc. worked with Sarepta to address the complexity of pharmaceutical supply chain planning, especially for RNA and gene therapy operations. Sarepta’s goals were to replace a manual planning process, preserve key planning logic for long-term use and backup, and reduce time spent on data collection and transformation so planners could focus on analysis and what-if scenarios.

Adexa implemented supply chain planning modeling for Sarepta across a 6- to 8-year horizon, covering raw materials through finished goods with detailed scheduling for reactors, contract manufacturing, lot and vial tracking, sourcing constraints, safety stock, region restrictions, customs and quarantine timing, batch sizes, and expiry-date controls. The solution was designed to streamline planning and make complex pharmaceutical constraints more manageable, but the case study does not provide specific quantitative results or measurable business impact.
