Oxfam International, through Oxfam GB’s online shop, needed a way to seamlessly integrate transactional emails such as order confirmations, registration emails, e-cards, and gift lists while improving deliverability and sending more personalized messages. The charity worked with Adestra and its MessageFocus transactional API to connect the shop platform with its email system.
Adestra implemented the integration by providing branded transactional templates, sample API code, testing support, and project management throughout the rollout. When the new shop launched in April 2012, all transactional emails were being sent through MessageFocus, giving Oxfam stronger deliverability, better control over email design, and access to reporting and statistics to keep improving performance.
