RM Education, a leading UK provider of ICT software, infrastructure and services for education, needed to boost email ROI as it shifted from face-to-face sales to eCommerce, while also keeping campaign creation time low. It worked with Adestra and its email marketing/reporting tools to deliver more relevant, personalized communications and reactivate lapsed customers.
Adestra implemented a low-cost spring campaign using historic transaction data, predictive data, and live web/email response feeds to segment audiences and adjust messaging in real time. The campaign sent 196,350 emails with 156 variations, achieved average open rates of 12% and click-through rates of 1.2% (peaking at 6%), and delivered a 22:1 ROI versus a 12:1 target.
