Wood Green Animal Shelters, a registered charity that rehomes more than 5,000 animals a year, needed to raise donations quickly after a 20% rise in animals needing care and a busy Christmas period ahead. To reach commuters and other supporters with an easy way to give, they worked with Adestra and used SMS as part of their “Hungry Mouths Christmas Appeal.”

Adestra helped Wood Green Animal Shelters run a text-to-donate campaign promoted online and offline, including social posts, onsite banners, kennel cards, and train and station posters. The results were strong: 652 donations were received overall, including 276 in the first 11 days, 14% of new donors converted to regular donors, and the campaign delivered a 12:1 ROI for every £1 spent.
