Automated Visitor Journeys Achieve 119% Higher Engagement For Sleep

Sleep by UBM, Europe’s leading exhibition and conference for the global hotel design, development and architectural community, needed to improve pre-registration conversion and boost engagement with post-registration emails. As a free-to-attend event, Sleep faced the challenge of turning pre-registered visitors into attendees while meeting a target conversion rate of at least 47%, and declining email engagement made that more difficult.

Sleep worked with Adestra to automate its conversion email journeys, segmenting messages for VIPs, regular visitors, and colleague-registered attendees, and optimizing content to be more timely and relevant. With Adestra, the campaign delivered 119% higher open rates and 76% higher click-to-open rates, helped lift the VIP click-to-open rate from 11.5% to 21.1%, and supported a pre-registration conversion rate of 47.2% plus 9% year-over-year visitor growth.
