How Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young Leveraged a Successful iTimekeep Pilot for a Rockstar Firm-Wide Rollout

Hawkins Parnell Thackston & Young (HPTY) needed a better way to streamline billing and reduce client bill rejections caused by inconsistent time-entry narratives and inaccurate timekeeping. Vendor Aderant’s iTimekeep mobile timekeeping solution was introduced to help improve real-time compliance, increase time entry accuracy, and support the firm’s goal of better billing performance.

Aderant implemented iTimekeep through a pilot with selected attorneys, then expanded it firm-wide in small rollout groups. The solution was easy to deploy and use, required minimal training, and quickly gained user adoption: 99% of pilot time was entered on mobile devices, 100% of pilot users participated, time leakage fell by 26%, and 64% of entries were made within one day of the work performed. The pilot also drove firm-wide demand, with all pilot users planning to continue using iTimekeep after the trial.
