Bad Daddy’s ramps up delivery and takeout with help from Zenreach

Bad Daddy’s, a 38-location burger bar chain, faced a sharp decline in on-site visits when COVID-19 lockdowns began in March 2020. Adentro, which had been helping Bad Daddy’s track walk-throughs and run monthly promotions, was asked to pivot the restaurant’s marketing toward takeout and delivery using targeted online advertising and campaign management.

Adentro shifted the brand’s entire digital ad spend to drive online ordering, running a single creative across all 38 locations’ zip codes with a five-mile targeting radius and promoting weekly offers to send traffic to the order page. Within two weeks Bad Daddy’s saw major gains: on Great American Takeout day they recorded 1,500 takeout orders and 1,200 online orders, Adentro reported 1,385 website clicks and 765 ad engagements, and the “Kids Eat Free” Facebook campaign achieved a 2.9% CTR—more than double the industry benchmark.
