Great Kosher Restaurant - Customer Case Study

Great Kosher Restaurant (GKR) is a global directory for kosher eateries whose primary challenge was converting freemium listings into paying advertisers. GKR struggled to sell priority placements because restaurants couldn’t measure the value of their ads—phone orders and reservations drove revenue, but GKR had no way to tell how many calls listings generated. Addsource was brought in to provide call-tracking and Pay-Per-Call capabilities using virtual numbers and a monitoring/dashboard service.

Addsource replaced restaurant phone numbers with virtual numbers, tracked and recorded calls, and surfaced metrics (call counts, durations, dropped/busy calls, recordings) so GKR and its restaurants could see real performance; results showed restaurants getting more than 20 valid calls per day from GKR listings. With that data Addsource helped GKR launch a Pay-Per-Call offering ($8–$13 per validated call, $250 prepay, auto-recharge) that restaurants embraced, making the product easy to sell and shifting GKR to a measurable CPA monetization model.
