Mathnasium, a global math tutoring center, faced challenges with its existing transactional database system, which was slow for reporting and hampered application performance. Adastra implemented a solution by migrating Mathnasium's data from an RDS SQL Server into AWS Redshift via an Amazon S3 data lake, utilizing AWS services like DMS, Glue, and Lambda. This new architecture resulted in report development being 3x faster and deployment cycles 15x faster. The project provided Mathnasium with powerful, readily accessible business insights and a solid foundation for future machine learning implementations.
