A Adastra Case Study
Kooperativa, a major insurance company in the Czech Republic, faced significant challenges in its financial planning processes, which it referred to as "Excel Hell." During a merger with another insurer, the company struggled with data shared via email, inconsistent sources, and time-consuming coordination between teams. To overcome this, Kooperativa partnered with vendor Adastra to implement a solution using IBM Planning Analytics.
Adastra implemented IBM Planning Analytics, a project named "SIBYLA," to unify Kooperativa's financial planning. The solution integrated data from three operational systems into a single source, creating over 20 modules. This resulted in faster, more efficient planning with clearer workflows and new capabilities for scenario analysis. The project provided significant time and capacity savings by eliminating manual tasks and ensuring data integrity across the newly merged company.
