Czech Television (CT), a public broadcaster operating six channels, needed to modernize its data warehousing and reporting system. Their original system could not meet higher reporting demands, and consolidating broadcast data from all channels was a complex challenge. They required a flexible and dynamic replacement, leading them to partner with vendor Adastra for a DWH Modernization solution built on Microsoft technology.

Adastra implemented a new data warehouse containing approximately 35GB of data, including historical records dating back to 1954. The solution automated data updates and error checking, significantly reducing report preparation time. The results included the automated generation of over 20 regular reports monthly, improved data quality, and empowered analysts who could now create and manage reports independently without IT intervention.
