ČSOB streamlines planning in 5 years with Adastra

Československá Obchodní Banka, a.s. (ČSOB), one of the largest commercial banks in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, needed to streamline and make its planning, budgeting, and forecasting process more transparent. The bank sought to save time, simplify budgeting, and move away from problematic Excel spreadsheets. Adastra implemented a planning platform based on IBM Planning Analytics to address this challenge.

The solution, developed collaboratively with ČSOB's internal team, significantly accelerated the planning process and enabled more detailed plan creation and control. As a result, ČSOB has managed its planning with the IBM Planning Analytics platform for five years, operating it independently after being trained by Adastra. A member of the project team reported significantly shortening their schedule and plan development, allowing them to focus more on other issues.
