A Adastra Case Study
Alza.cz Inc, a leading European e-commerce retailer, sought to enhance data-driven decision-making and boost in-store sales for its new showroom in Budapest. As a predominantly online shop, the company lacked visibility into customer behavior within its physical retail space. To address this challenge, Alza.cz partnered with vendor Adastra.
Adastra implemented an IoT solution leveraging Microsoft Azure and Power BI. The system used 3D cameras and Azure cognitive services to track visitor numbers, demographics, movement, and time spent in specific zones. This provided heatmaps and aggregate data reports. The solution achieved 98% accuracy in identifying gender and tracked 19,000 visitors, giving Alza.cz managers invaluable insights into customer behavior to inform business decisions.
