VisitBritain, the national tourism agency for Great Britain, needed a way to drive bookings for a Brittany Ferries co-branded campaign despite lacking a clear call to action typical of destination marketing. The challenge was to identify the most relevant French travelers, especially those in key ferry departure regions, and hit a target cost per booking of £45.
ADARA used its travel data and platform to target in-market French travelers geo-located in France in real time, focusing on holidaymakers searching for trips to or in the UK. Over the month-long campaign, ADARA delivered more than 3,000 clicks and achieved a £41.69 cost per booking, beating the KPI by almost 10% and outperforming other partners on plan.
