Adaptiv teams up with Integrale IP to deliver ELFIQ solution for IMM surgical hospital in Paris

Institut Mutualiste Montsouris (IMM), a major Parisian medical-surgical hospital, required a highly resilient and uninterrupted internet connection for its critical outbound and inbound traffic, including patient records and application publishing. The hospital's CIO identified a complete internet outage as a high-risk event that would cause severe productivity losses. IMM worked with Integrale IP, who recommended the ELFIQ solution from Adaptiv Networks to manage its multiple internet providers.

Adaptiv Networks implemented its ELFIQ link-balancing solution, which was integrated transparently into the existing infrastructure without requiring changes to the firewall. The solution provides automatic failover between providers to prevent outages and load balancing to avoid congestion and improve performance for over 1,000,000 concurrent sessions. Since its deployment in 2016, IMM has achieved complete independence from individual operators, eliminated service interruptions during provider maintenance, and significantly improved user experience and operational agility.
