French Bank Executes First Instant Payment With Adaptigent

A major European bank, with €500 billion in assets, aimed to become the first bank in France to execute a real-time payment. Their challenge was integrating their core mainframe systems, which were not designed for external communication, with modern applications to facilitate instant transaction processing. To overcome this, they turned to Adaptigent and its Adaptive Integration Fabric solution.

Using Adaptigent's solution, the bank quickly created complex APIs that linked their legacy COBOL systems to a real-time payment application. This enabled them to successfully process the first instant payment in France. The project was completed on an aggressive timeline, moving from proof-of-concept to full production in under two months, which saved significant resources on employee training or hiring.
