Transforming software testing and quality assurance for KBC Bank & Insurance

KBC Bank & Insurance, a major Belgian financial services provider, needed a single source of truth for test management that could support large-scale Agile testing, integrate cleanly with Jira and other dev tools, and reduce the high cost and complexity of its existing HP Quality Center setup. Adaptavist’s Test Management for Jira (TM4J) was selected because it was intuitive, Jira-native, and better suited to KBC’s distributed teams and growing automation needs.

Adaptavist implemented TM4J across KBC’s testing environment, helping migrate 130,000 test cases across 150 Jira projects and enabling test cases, results, and tasks to be managed in one place. The results were significant: KBC fully migrated its Belgian testing to TM4J, doubled the number of users on the platform, expanded to 250,000 test cases in 300 Jira projects, and improved speed, visibility, and automation while substantially lowering total cost of ownership compared with HPQC.
