PT. Sumatra Motor Indonesia (SMI) is a Cleveland Motorcycle distributor based in Bintaro, Indonesia, selling motorcycles, parts, accessories and maintenance services. Running on legacy ACCURATE accounting and paper-based approvals, SMI needed a flexible ERP to streamline procurement-to-sales and finance processes, manage large SKU/part/VIN inventory, enable mobile approvals, and handle leads and customer management.

SMI implemented Acumatica Financial Management, Distribution Management and Customer Management—plus a custom Surat Pemesanan Kendaraan (SPK) form—through reseller PT EMS Paramitra in a three-month rollout. The cloud ERP eliminated manual purchase-order workflows, sped month-end closing with drill-down financial reporting, improved inventory visibility, and added leads/opportunity assignment for sales and marketing.
