The Macabe Associates, a Seattle-based software consulting and Sage reseller with 10 employees and over 300 customers, faced aging, fragmented systems after 28 years on Sage. Their CRM, ERP, timekeeping and support tools were siloed, required duplicate data entry, and lacked true cloud accessibility — creating productivity drag and limiting remote work.

Macabe implemented Acumatica (Financial, Customer, Distribution and Project Accounting) on-premises and built a custom conversion toolkit to migrate eight–10 years of transaction, customer and financial history from Sage 500. The move delivered a single integrated system, eliminated duplicate entry, enabled anytime/anywhere access, reduced maintenance and training time, and created a new service stream: fixed‑price Sage-to-Acumatica conversion packages for customers and partners.
