R.A.S. Logistics, a last‑mile delivery firm founded in 1998 that grew to 21 locations and more than $40M in sales, faced operational strain from siloed systems and manual accounting. QuickBooks and a custom SQL invoicing system couldn’t handle intercompany consolidations, contractor payment complexity, or growing transaction volume, forcing long hours, frequent data entry duplication, and system instability.
R.A.S. implemented Acumatica with Crestwood to automate processes, connect applications, and provide real‑time financials. The new system eliminated daily duplicate entry, centralized check runs, cut the monthly close from 14 to 5 days (with a goal of 2), reduced the weekly check run by 2–3 days, supported higher transaction volumes without added staff, improved profitability visibility by location and customer, and positioned the company to pursue growth toward an $80M target.
