Ray Allen Manufacturing, a 70-year-old Colorado Springs maker and online retailer of professional canine training products for law enforcement, military and civilian markets, was growing through acquisitions but held back by a legacy AS/400 “green screen” system. The old setup ran separate inventories for different brands, lacked manufacturing visibility, created duplicate customer records from online orders, and offered no CRM or robust reporting—problems that threatened the company’s ability to scale and integrate future acquisitions.
Ray Allen implemented Acumatica SaaS with JAAS Advanced Manufacturing (JAMS), Magento eCommerce and integration partners to unify inventory, automate order flows and add CRM and reporting. The new platform streamlined operations, improved inventory visibility and customer service, and enabled automated order/return processing; the call center saved about 25% of its time, distribution 20%, and finance/marketing 10%, while providing a scalable foundation for continued rapid growth.
