Acumatica transforms publisher’s data management, saving thousands of dollars

Great Commission Publications (GCP) is a nonprofit publisher based in Suwanee, Georgia, that produces Sunday school curriculum with about 15 employees and $2.5–3M in annual revenue. GCP’s legacy system was slow and unreliable, making it hard to retrieve financial and sales data, print warehouse order confirmations, update freight files, and track orders—problems that caused shipping delays, lost freight billings, and poor customer service.

GCP implemented Acumatica (Financial, Distribution, and Customer Management suites) on a SaaS/cloud platform with a local partner, gaining easy remote access, robust reporting, and better freight/address validation. As a result, order tracking and reporting improved, shipping turnaround fell by at least half to mostly same-day shipment, employee productivity increased, and shipping errors and related costs were significantly reduced.
