Acumatica strengthens financial controls, helps manufacturer prepare for growth

Demtech, a California-based manufacturer and global distributor of specialized plastic welding machines with 45 employees, found its growth hampered by QuickBooks. As the business expanded across multiple offices, warehouses and mobile service units, management needed stronger financial controls, better inventory accountability and support for field staff.

Working with partner Collins Computing, Demtech implemented Acumatica Cloud ERP on a private cloud, including Financial, Distribution and CRM suites plus Fusion Warehouse Management with wireless barcode scanning. The new system gave mobile teams remote access, tightened inventory controls and permissions, improved customer service and business intelligence, and positioned the company to support future manufacturing needs and international growth.
