Well-Paid Maids is the only accredited living-wage home cleaning company in the US, with about 50 employees across Washington, D.C., Chicago, and New York. As the business grew, its earlier scheduling software led to customer complaints and a heavy stream of administrative emails for simple requests like rescheduling and cancellations, so the company looked for a more reliable and flexible booking system. It also needed tighter control over booking rules and a way to give customers more control over their appointments.

Well-Paid Maids switched to Acuity Scheduling and used it to let customers create accounts, view and edit bookings, and manage rescheduling and cancellations on their own. Acuity Scheduling also gave the company the control it needed to hide certain start times through the CSS editor and manage multiple locations from the same dashboard. The result was approximately 95% fewer emails for scheduling requests, higher staff utilization, and fewer complaints about the scheduler.
