Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences launched its new School of Dental Medicine to help address healthcare shortages in rural and medically underserved communities, but needed a reliable way to support competency-based assessment, track student progress across clinical, didactic, and simulation settings, and meet CODA accreditation requirements. The school also had to manage assessment in integrated clinical environments where students train alongside other health professionals and use shared electronic health record systems.
