The Navigator Company deploys 15 TUX930 terminals with Actuasys

The Navigator Company, an integrated forest producer with 3,000 employees, sought to modernize its time recording and access control systems across its sites. Their objective was to implement an integrated solution to optimize IT and infrastructure resources, with a specific requirement for a system certified to integrate with their SAP platform. They partnered with Actuasys, a vendor they had worked with since 2004, to address this challenge.

Actuasys implemented its TUX930 terminals with mixed RFID and fingerprint biometric technology, alongside its EXPERT access control and INTERFACE solutions. The solution provided integrated time registration and controlled access via turnstiles, barriers, and doors across all company sites. As a result, Navigator achieved its goal of a streamlined, SAP-certified system. The measurable impact of the implementation is shown by the widespread deployment of Actuasys hardware, including 65 UMV3, 80 UMV5, 32 UMV6, 15 TUX930, and 2 TUX510 units across their entire operation.
