Solvay manages access across 38 points with Actuasys

Solvay, a chemical company and shared services center in Portugal, sought to control access for employees, suppliers, and visitors across its facilities while ensuring accurate time management for its workforce. To meet this challenge, they partnered with Actuasys to implement its EXPERT and INTERFACE solutions.

Actuasys implemented a comprehensive solution featuring 38 access control points using UMV5 terminals with RFID and fingerprint technology, alongside 25 SAP-certified time clocks. This system managed access through doors, turnstiles, and vehicle barriers. The modular design of the Actuasys EXPERT solution also allowed Solvay to use an integrated expenses module for canteen management. As a long-term customer since 2000, Solvay successfully achieved its goals of enhanced security and precise attendance tracking with the systems from Actuasys.
