Sintra Town Council, a local administration in Portugal with 3,000 employees, wanted stronger attendance control and management while also moving toward paperless processes. The council worked with Actuasys and its EXPERT Attendance solution to support employee and manager self-service and improve HR processing, with a goal of fully integrating its ERP system.

Actuasys implemented self-service portals for employees and managers, automated data export for payroll, and synchronized registrations between the AIRC ERP and the Actuasys EXPERT solution. The council now operates 188 UMV6 terminals across the municipality, including all local schools since 2016, improving attendance management, absence and holiday approvals, and HR efficiency.
