Luís Simões, a logistics operator in Portugal with 1,400 employees, needed to standardise and automate time registration and access control across multiple locations while keeping management centralised and adaptable to different business areas. Actuasys provided the EXPERT solution, including attendance, access, canteens, self-service, mobile and time planning.

Actuasys implemented a unified system for attendance registration, schedule management, access control at entry points, turnstiles, vehicle barriers and automatic doors, plus canteen reservations and employee self-service tools. The Group also installed 37 UMV5 and UMV6 terminals to integrate with access devices and support centralized operations, improving efficiency and reducing manual processing, though no specific quantitative savings were provided.
