H.B. Fuller expands access control across 2 buildings with Actuasys

H.B. Fuller, a leading global adhesives provider, faced a challenge when expanding its production facilities. The construction of a new building attached to its existing one created a need to control and regulate employee movement between the two structures for safety and security. The company turned to vendor Actuasys for an access control solution.

Actuasys implemented its SMART Access Solution using UMV5 terminals with RFID technology at the building access points and the connecting reel. For new attendance registration points, Actuasys provided TUX910 terminals. This solution allowed H.B. Fuller to ensure strict compliance with safety rules automatically, eliminating the need for human intervention and securing the movement of employees within the expanded facility.
