ActiveCloud Enables Own Cloud Business with ActivePlatform Provisioning and Billing Automation Software

ActiveCloud, a large cloud service provider operating across Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and other markets, needed to replace its existing brokerage platform because it was poorly suited to CIS accounting and tax requirements, had a non-intuitive interface, and required extensive custom development. The company also wanted a more flexible way to sell and manage both third-party and its own packaged cloud services. ActivePlatform provided the provisioning and billing automation software used to address these needs.

ActivePlatform implemented a lightweight, private-cloud brokerage platform with modules for service usage management, tariff plan creation, billing automation, client/account/user management, and storefront-based upsell and discounts. The migration was completed successfully in Belarus before currency denomination changes, and cloud services were also migrated in Russia and Uzbekistan. According to ActiveCloud, ActivePlatform helped reduce churn, improve customer satisfaction, grow the client base, and support strong business growth, including 192% revenue growth.
