The Village of Hawthorn Woods needed a better way to manage recreation registrations and support its goal of keeping residents engaged locally. Its old process relied on paper forms, faxing, mailing, and manual filing, creating delays and a poor experience for staff and customers. The Village chose ACTIVENet to replace the outdated system with a user-friendly online registration solution.
ACTIVENet implemented the software quickly, with implementation and training completed in 60 days. The new system helped registrations “practically run themselves,” cut hardware and outsourced IT costs, improved access for residents, and increased participation and revenue. Staff also gained time to focus on customer service instead of paperwork.
