A ACTIVENet Case Study
The City of El Paso, Texas, faced major parks and recreation management challenges, with manual paper-based registrations, cash/check payments, and limited data visibility slowing operations and creating liability risk. The department needed a better way to improve customer service, expand programs, and offer 24/7 access for residents, so it chose ACTIVENet’s hosted, web-based parks and recreation management solution.
ACTIVENet implemented online registration, automated payment processing, e-marketing support, and customizable modules for public access, point-of-sale, memberships, league scheduling, facility reservations, and activity registration. As a result, El Paso improved administrative efficiency, reduced liability, and gained detailed reporting on demographics, usage, and revenue, while increasing participation and revenue and eliminating the need to invest in servers or IT hardware.
