Spire Energy, a large U.S. natural gas company serving about 1.7 million customers with 3,500+ employees, faced rapid unstructured data growth from acquisitions and day-to-day operations, limited visibility across file shares, a complex folder structure, and difficulty responding to eDiscovery requests and an upcoming Office 365 migration. To address these challenges they piloted and selected ActiveNav for scalable data discovery and governance.

ActiveNav’s software was deployed to index unstructured environments, classify and tag content, build a data map, and enable audited eDiscovery workflows.
