VLA integrates ActiveDocs Opus with Atlas Grants, HR, and Case Management to create thousands of types of legal documents

Victoria Legal Aid (VLA), an independent statutory legal aid provider in Victoria, needed a user-friendly, web-based system to let geographically dispersed staff generate hundreds of types of legal documents and to pull data from existing systems including Atlas Grants, HR, and its SharePoint Case Management. VLA chose ActiveDocs’ document automation platform to meet these integration and accessibility requirements.

ActiveDocs delivered a proof of concept and full rollout, enabling VLA to create and deploy over 3,000 automated templates in 18 months and integrate ActiveDocs with Atlas Grants, HR and SharePoint Case Management (SharePoint Online/Office 365). The solution now serves 300+ lawyers (about 150 active daily), producing more than 400 approved documents per day with an average generation time of around two seconds and automatic routing into case files.
