Technically Advanced and Innovative Bank, a leading southern-hemisphere bank, needed timely, accurate generation of multiple complex loan and settlement documents that draw data from up to five separate systems. Because changing those systems was not an option, the bank engaged ActiveDocs and deployed ActiveDocs Composition/Server together with ActiveDocs Designer to provide an independent document generation platform and template-authoring tools.

ActiveDocs implemented a scaled-out ActiveDocs Server in Automated Mode accessed via web services, with business teams using ActiveDocs Designer in Microsoft Word to build and maintain templates and reusable snippets. The solution generates single or batched documents from minimal XML payloads (retrieving missing data from source systems), improving document generation turnaround, reducing the staff resources required to produce complex documents, and delivering a common, IT-light platform that integrates with the bank’s existing applications.
