Nexus IS, a Valencia, California–based integrator of Cisco networking solutions, faced long, error-prone document preparation for customer-facing materials (statements of work, RFPs, service briefs) and inconsistent branding because sales teams kept templates locally and processes were scattered. To reduce document creation time, enforce branding and process control, and improve installation readiness, Nexus IS evaluated and selected ActiveDocs’ template management and document automation system.

ActiveDocs was deployed on a central server with Templates, reusable Snippets and wizard-driven document assembly, integrating data from SQL, Excel and Microsoft Word/Outlook. By centralizing content and automating population of documents, ActiveDocs cut document preparation time, reduced documentation errors, sped installations by providing field technicians with up-to-date procedures, and made branding updates quick and consistent—freeing Nexus IS staff to spend more time selling.
