IPSI’s existing systems support business-critical processing while utilizing state-of-the-art document automation

Irish Progressive Services International (IPSI), a Dublin‑based provider of administration services to the life, pensions, protection and savings markets, faced an expensive, infrastructure‑dependent and inflexible legacy document generator. To replace that system IPSI selected ActiveDocs — deploying ActiveDocs Composition Server, ActiveDocs ADP Web Services and ActiveDocs Designer — to deliver a state‑of‑the‑art, high‑performance document automation platform.

ActiveDocs implemented a multi‑server, multi‑threaded Composition Server on standard Windows infrastructure with a middleware layer invoking ADP Web Services for batch generation, approval and delivery, and ActiveDocs Designer for MS‑Word template maintenance. The solution delivered high throughput and reliability, removed the need for specialized infrastructure and costly annual licensing/support, enabled fast, non‑programmatic template changes, supported batch production of tens or hundreds of documents with flexible e‑delivery/print options, and reduced development/custom coding by using standard ActiveDocs features.
