Commercial Property Insurance Company is a leading commercial property insurer specializing in engineering-based risk management. The business managed multiple entities and highly tailored, often hundreds-page policies using manual document generation and a legacy custom clause library, and needed a single, enterprise-wide automation platform. After running proofs of concept it selected ActiveDocs (including the ActiveDocs Snippet library and Document Wizard) to replace legacy systems.

ActiveDocs was implemented as a hybrid solution—Automated Mode integrated with the GBS core insurance system and a User-driven Mode using a web-based Document Wizard—so business users can build and maintain templates and Snippets in Microsoft Word without heavy IT involvement. The deployment now serves 5,500 employees in a high-throughput, high-availability configuration; updates that once took up to six weeks (bound by a three-week sprint cycle) can be implemented in minutes, document turnaround time has accelerated, and error risk has been significantly reduced.
