Choice Legal Group, P.A., a Fort Lauderdale law firm with 150 attorneys and staff across five offices that produces more than 3 million documents annually, needed to reduce IT management overhead and migrate from desktop-based document systems to a web-based architecture. After finding HotDocs too costly to run in a web environment, Choice Legal Group, P.A. selected ActiveDocs document automation and template management software as its vendor and solution.

ActiveDocs deployed a browser-based, .NET template and document automation system integrated with the firm’s case management portal, managing about 1,100 templates and using an automated Q&A wizard and jurisdictional rules to assemble documents. The ActiveDocs solution centralized administration, simplified deployment, enabled use of less powerful hardware, lowered IT management costs, and allowed the firm to continue producing more than 3 million documents per year while scaling affordably.
