ActiveDocs Opus helps Urban Counties juvenile justice system keep better track of minors in need of services

The Texas Conference of Urban Counties (Urban Counties) needed a scalable way to generate juvenile justice documents from the statewide TechShare.Juvenile system so thousands of users across 254 counties could produce jurisdiction‑specific forms while protecting sensitive child data. To meet that challenge they selected ActiveDocs’ template management and document automation to integrate with TechShare.Juvenile and the system’s SQL database.

ActiveDocs was integrated into TechShare.Juvenile to provide template authoring, automatic data merge, role‑based security, approval workflow and repository association. As a result, users can instantly produce reports, court orders and probation conditions in customized local formats, securely store and retrieve documents linked to juvenile records, and support the TechShare.Juvenile rollout (an estimated 65,000 users) with faster, consistent document production across jurisdictions.
