A ActiveDocs Case Study
Consolidated Civil Enforcement, the largest civil enforcement agency in Western Canada, struggled with a high-volume, document‑intensive workflow: every file required multiple precise legal documents and their existing document system couldn’t integrate with the company’s Microsoft SQL back end without costly custom work. To shorten production time and reduce errors they implemented ActiveDocs, using ActiveDocs document automation software with Web services and ODBC to connect directly to their databases.
ActiveDocs integrated with Consolidated Civil Enforcement’s SQL database and provided a web portal for 40 recovery managers to auto‑populate legal templates, eliminating manual transcription and repetitive entry. As a result, average document production time fell from about 50 minutes to under 20 minutes (with many routine documents created in under a minute), avoided hiring extra administrative staff, and improved accuracy and scalability as the company expands automation with SharePoint.
